Returns Policy - Online Sales
At Belgravia Apparel, we are committed to providing quality products and customer service. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights under applicable consumer protection laws in Australia or New Zealand.
Return Eligibility
We may accept change-of-mind returns for standard stocked products where:
-
The item is in its original packaging with all tags attached.
-
The item is unworn, unused and unwashed.
-
The item is in original, saleable condition.
-
Proof of purchase is provided.
-
The return request is submitted within 30 days of receiving the order.
Returns that do not meet these requirements may be declined and returned at the customer’s expense.
Pre-Order, Made-to-Order & Personalised Products
Products identified as Pre-Order, Made-to-Order, Personalised, Customised or similar are produced or decorated specifically for the customer and are not generally held as stock.
They are not eligible for return, exchange or refund due to:
-
Change of mind.
-
Incorrect size selection.
-
Customer ordering errors.
-
Late change requests after ordering.
-
Delays within advised production and delivery timeframes.
Customers must review sizing, product and personalisation details before ordering. This exclusion does not apply where an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, differs from the approved order, or applicable consumer law provides a remedy.
How to Request a Return
Contact our Customer Service team before returning any item. Returns must be approved before being sent back. Once approved, we will provide a Returns Form and return instructions.
Return Process
After approval:
-
Complete the Returns Form.
-
Include your order number and proof of purchase.
-
Package the goods securely.
-
Use a traceable shipping method to the address provided.
-
Keep proof of shipment until the return is processed.
We are not responsible for returned parcels lost in transit, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Refund Processing
Once a returned item has been received and assessed, approved refunds will be processed within five business days and credited to the original payment method. Financial institutions may take additional time to display the credit.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If you receive a faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or incorrectly decorated item, contact us promptly. We may request photographs, order details and other information needed to assess the issue.
Where an issue is confirmed, we will provide an appropriate remedy under applicable consumer law, which may include repair, replacement or refund. We will cover reasonable return shipping costs where we supplied an incorrect, damaged or faulty product.
Non-Returnable Products
For hygiene and safety reasons, change-of-mind returns are not accepted for:
-
Worn hats, caps or beanies.
-
Swimwear.
-
Briefs, underwear or undergarments.
-
Products where hygiene seals have been removed.
-
Personalised, customised or decorated products, unless faulty or incorrectly supplied.
-
Pre-Order or Made-to-Order products, unless faulty or incorrectly supplied.
Change-of-Mind Returns
Where a change-of-mind return is approved, the customer is responsible for return shipping, original shipping charges are not refundable, and the item must meet all eligibility requirements. This does not limit rights under applicable consumer law.
Products Not Considered Faulty
The following are not generally considered product faults:
-
Incorrect size selection.
-
Change of mind.
-
Normal wear and tear.
-
Damage caused by misuse, neglect or accidental damage.
-
Failure to follow care instructions.
-
Minor variations within normal manufacturing tolerances.
-
Damage occurring after delivery.
International Orders
For international orders, return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied. Duties, taxes, customs and import charges are generally non-refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Consumer Rights
For Australian purchases, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For New Zealand purchases, rights may apply under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.
Where goods fail to meet applicable consumer guarantees, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy as provided by law.
